Overview
If the standardized Aquasink design structure limits your design
creativity, we offer the flexibility of Hypercool, a two part
construction with channels machined into either one side or both
sides of the assembly. The two parts are then soldered together with
silver solder using a tightly controlled temperature/pressure
process. Certain applications require brazing and we are also able to
provide this solution Typical construction is in copper,
simplifying the solder process or in aluminum following nickel
plating of the machined parts to facilitate soldering. If design
permits we recommend blind mounting holes in each part of the
channeled assembly to reduce the possibility of leakage.
An
alternative to a series or series/parallel machined channel solution
is our cross cut channel arrangement, which mimics pin fins in air.
