The entire family of all aluminum Fabfin and Dual Baseplate
heatsinks can be anodized without worry of an inconsistent
finish. The anodizing process requires that hundreds of amperes
of DC current be conducted through the entire heatsink body. Any
resistance present in the interface (between the fin and the
baseplate) would cause the fins to appear "off black"
or gray once the processing is complete. This is yet another
test of the interface between the fin and the baseplate which
shows superior performance over alternative assembly techniques.
