Why use the Navigator?
 The
Navigator by Ferraz Shawmut (formerly R-Theta Thermal Solutions) is a navigational tool for heatsink design and
serves as a pictorial bridge to this interactive website.
The Navigator has been designed to function as a desktop tool
to assist in the configuration of a heatsink and to model its
performance under operating conditions.
R-Tools allows the design engineer to quickly attach either
standard or custom semiconductors and their associated interface
materials to the configured heatsink. When logged onto R-Tools,
it is possible to change power levels, location, materials,
cooling fans, or cooling medium. Optimization becomes reality in
a compressed time environment.
